How We Give Back
Non-Profits We Support
One of the tentpoles of Atlas MKE’s mission is to continually improve the community that we live and work in. This inspired us to become a Public Benefits Corporation, codifying our aspirations. With that in mind, Atlas MKE has selected five local non-profits to that we believe our efforts can have the biggest impact to the most in need.
2022 Focus Non-Profits
Walkers Point Youth and Family Center
The mission of Walker’s Point Youth & Family Center is to meet the needs of runaway, homeless, and other troubled youth and their families from Milwaukee’s diverse communities by providing services to empower youth, help them resolve personal and family problems, strengthen family relationships, and support safe and stable homes.
Milwaukee Homeless Veterans Initiative
Our mission is to enable homeless and at-risk veterans to reach and maintain their highest levels of independence. We live this mission through our programs and services including Outreach, Home Support, Crisis Management, Bikes for Stripes, Emergency Food Pantry, Family Resource Center Women Veterans Initiative (WOVIN) and the Crisis Fund.
Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association
Strives to ‘Let No One Sit on the Sidelines’ and operates under a mission to promote and support the optimal development and well-being of youth, adults and military veterans who have a physical or visual disability through the provision of inclusive recreation, fitness and competitive sports activities.
Employee Selected Non-Profits
In addition to the corporate level non-profits we support, each member of the Atlas MKE team has selected a non-profit important to them. Atlas MKE provides one paid day off a quarter for employees to volunteer at non-profits close to them. In addition to providing this time to serve the community, Atlas MKE matches monetary donations, doubling the impact.
Independence First
Independence First is Metro Milwaukee’s first resource for people with disabilities providing programs on disability awareness, independent living skills, and recreation. We work with individuals and families for whatever someone needs to successfully live in the community, helping with resources from assistive technology to home modification to personal care or supportive home care services.

We champion Milwaukee – our music, arts and culture, neighborhoods and community organizations; celebrate diversity, and encourage community engagement – while promoting global identity for Milwaukee.
Wisconsin Conservatory of Music
The Wisconsin Conservatory is more than a community music school; it guides and inspires children and adults alike to find their voice, discover their desired instrument, and develop their music-making capabilities, whether you are just beginning or a seasoned professional.
